HILLSIDE CAMP COTTAGES - a small quiet fishing cottage resort on the south shore of beautiful Rice Lake, in Ontario's Kawarthas Region. Five Cabins situated on Rice Lake’s waterfront with docking for your own boat or rent one of ours. Our housekeeping cottages are all 2 bedroom and are fully equipped for your convenience. Whether you are fishing for Bass, Walleye (Pickerel), Bluegill, Perch, or Crappie, Rice Lake is the place to be. Rice Lake is situated in Canada's famous Kawarthas fishing haven. Fish Cleaning and Freezing facilities are located close to the cabins. A Pontoon Boat or 16ft Fishing boats are available for your fishing adventure. Boat launching, groceries, sundries, gas and live bait are all conveniently located. Fishing Licences are sold on the premises. For boaters Rice Lake is situated approx. 16 miles north of Cobourg and is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway linking the central & southern sections of the waterway. Rice Lake is well known to be one of Ontario’s - and Canada's - most productive fisheries.
